A compress is cloth soaked in a prepared liquid and applied externally. Chamomile is aromatic and widely used, but members of the daisy family can trigger allergic reactions.
Method
Prepare a mild infusion, allow it to cool fully, soak a clean cloth and apply briefly to intact skin.
Stop when skin objects
Remove immediately if stinging, redness, swelling or itching develops. Do not apply near the eyes or to infected areas without professional advice.
Pause before using
Check allergies, medicines, pregnancy, breastfeeding, age restrictions and whether symptoms need diagnosis. Stop if a reaction develops.
Claims should remain traceable
